In response, Buds of Heaven Social Service Society has initiated the Paper (Plantable) Pen Making Project. After use, the pens can be buried in soil, and new plants will emerge, offering a simple but powerful solution to combat plastic pollution and promote sustainability.

Many roadside people in Pondicherry struggle daily to access the basic essentials of life, and Akshaya Patra is a vital initiative designed to improve their living conditions and provide them with essential resources.

Additionally, we encourage individuals celebrating special occasions (like birthdays) to donate food to the initiative as a form of social responsibility. To ensure effective monitoring of the project, a 24-hour surveillance system has been installed at the Akshaya Patra location. Regular monthly meetings will be conducted with the trustees to assess the progress of the project and identify areas that need further development. At least six unidentified deaths occur every month, leaving the deceased without proper burial or funeral support. Buds of Heaven Social Service Society is dedicated to providing this much-needed support for those who have no family to claim them and no means to afford a respectful funeral. Our project ensures that these unidentified individuals receive a dignified final farewell, in line with the moral and ethical values we hold dear. Through your support, Buds of Heaven steps in to provide funeral procedures and emotional support to the local community and authorities dealing with these cases.
